Social Development Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her assistance and motivation to strengthening South African Social Security Company (SASSA) solutions for the duration of an engagement using the company's senior managers at a strategic organizing session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the numerous social grant beneficiaries, who excelled within the 2024 matric exams.
Of the 724 156 full-time learners who registered with the National Senior Certification (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, representing eighty one% of the registered pupils inside the education sector.
These learners reached a commendable pass rate of 86%.
